Objectives of this Role:
The primary objective of a Sales Executive for GTL Support and Training Services is to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction by promoting and selling Tableau’s support and training offerings.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Execute the sales strategy for Tableau support and training services, aligning with the company’s overall business goals. This includes identifying target markets, creating a sales plan, and setting clear revenue targets.
- Achieve sales targets by identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities for support and training services. This includes prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals with a focus on revenue growth.
- Monitor and report on sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospective and existing customers, understanding their specific needs and pain points related to support and training services.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of GTL’s services, particularly those related to support and training. Stay updated on product updates and industry trends to effectively communicate their value to customers.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in the data analytics and visualization space. Use market insights to refine sales strategies and position Tableau’s support and training services effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, inside sales, and customer support, to ensure seamless communication and alignment with company objectives.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Any Bachelors/MCA along with MBA in Sales & Marketing is preferred
- Proven sales experience in a similar role, especially in software or technology sales.
- Basic technical skills to understand and communicate technical aspects of BI software and services(Tableau, Alteryx, etc.).
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide effective solutions is critical.
- Ability to analyze sales data and metrics to make data-driven decisions and refine sales strategies.
- Collaborative mindset for working effectively with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and customer support.
- Proficiency in delivering compelling sales presentations and demonstrations of solutions & services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively conveying the value of Tableau’s support and training services to customers.
- Previous experience in software sales, especially in the field of data analytics and visualization, is a significant advantage.
- Strong negotiation abilities to reach mutually beneficial agreements with customers.
