Role Objectives:
Account manager responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. Account Managers liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our services in staff augmentation (Contractual only) model, according to customer IT requirements. Manage and develop client accounts to initiate and maintain favorable relationship with clients. Responsible for leading a team of Account Managers dedicated to meeting the operational needs of assigned client segments.

Daily tasks and duties will include:

  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers
  • Liaise with customers through email, phone, and in person meetings to make progress on servicing IT requirements supported by the IT recruitment team at Goldstone
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer contact points, vendor/procurement teams and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery closure on requirements according to customer needs and objectives
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Add new customers/client accounts in a similar line of business (preferably tier 1 organizations)
  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
  • Liaise between the customer and internal teams requirements

Skills and personal qualities:

  • Proven account management experience or other relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to manage multiple customer accounts at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven high-performance environment
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

Mandate Perquisite:

  • Candidates who has generated new business in IT / IT services are only eligible for this requirement
